SUMMARY

We were three professionals who formed our small, self-funded, and independent indie app studio with a shared mission: to simplify personal branding on social media. We wanted to help users create a unique, but cohesive visual identity on different platforms. With full creative ownership, I designed a seamless iOS experience for iPhone and iPad, following Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. By focusing only on iOS, we were able to create an MVP — a complete graphic design and photo editor — in just five months. Apple recognized our app as 'Hot this Week' with an overall 4.8-star user rating.

After installing the app, you're immediately directed to the templates feed, emphasizing visual content as the primary focus. This approach follows a familiar pattern, allowing users to understand the app intuitively through experience. Users can start from scratch, use toughtfully curated templates, or explore an interactive tutorial, but this is entirely optional.

We prioritized making mobile editing easy yet powerful, meeting the high demands of the market for rich functionalities. Every template were designed using our own editor. As designers often call 'eating your own dog food.'
